Terms of service
What you are buying, what it is not, and how long we keep what you send.
The contract
This page is a summary. The binding contract and the contracting party are shown at checkout: terms of service. Where the two differ, the checkout version applies.
What you are buying
One statistical research report: a qpAdm fit of your uploaded autosomal genotype against published ancient reference populations, returning the model, the ancestry weights, their standard errors and the p-value for the fit. Where competing models also fit, they are included. Where no model survives, the report says so and that is the deliverable. Delivery is by private link, normally within 24–48 hours; report links expire 90 days after delivery.
What it is not
It is not a medical, diagnostic, paternity, forensic or legal test. It establishes no nationality, ethnicity, community membership, caste, religion, entitlement, and issues no certificate of ancestry or origin. Do not rely on it for any decision where such a document would be required.
Refunds
Refunded in full, automatically, if the file cannot be processed; not refunded when the file processes and no model survives, because that is the completed analysis. The full rule is on the refunds page.
Retention of uploaded data
The raw genotype file you upload is retained for a minimum of seven (7) years from the date of your order. We retain it so that a completed analysis can be reproduced, checked, or re-run against improved reference datasets, and so that we can respond to questions or disputes about a report we issued. Your file is stored encrypted, is accessible only to the operator of this service, and is never sold, licensed, published, or shared with any third party. You may request deletion of your copy at any time via the contact page; we will delete it except where we are required to retain records to meet a legal or accounting obligation.
Your side
Upload only a file you are entitled to upload — your own, or one whose owner has asked you to. Do not send genetic data by email. Keep your order status link private: it is the key to your order.
